In an interview with Digital Spy, the new Holby City executive producer Kate Hall announced that there would be more Casualty and Holby City crossovers. Rosie has made three crossover appearances as Jac Naylor in 2016.
Kate said: "We attend each other's story conferences and the shows are very connected. Rosie Marcel is going to do a couple of episodes of Casualty. We've also got a notable crossover in Holby running up to the Christmas period."
