Entirely Holby

Oliver arrives at Holby City Hospital as an F1 doctor, alongside his sister Penny. He acquires Penny's preferred rotation on the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU). When a patient unexpectedly dies in his care, Oliver breaks down. He confesses to Penny that he cheated in medical school by swapping one of their exam papers, so he passed on her merit while she was forced to repeat a year. Penny later dies when sent on a call to a train crash.

 

Oliver went up to Darwin ward where he was mentored by Elliot Hope, he later began a relationship with fellow F1 doctor Tara Lo, who he later married - she sadly died of a brain tumour in 2013. Oliver left the wards of Holby City.

 

Dr Valentine returned in 2014, after being found in a drunken and unstable state, as he was taken to Holby City Hospital for an operation on his heart. He then made a full return to Darwin ward in 2015. In 2016, Oliver started a relationship with Zosia March.
