Background:
Essie was first seen on Keller ward when her grandfather was admitted to hospital, being treated by junior doctor Zosia March.
In 2015, Essie is then offered a job at Holby City hospital and she develops a friendship with colleague Sacha who she later has a relationship with, but soon ended as they didn't want the same things, Essie is currently looking after a teenager called Parker.
