Jason Durr first appeared in on screen in the episode tilted ‘Tangled webs weave’ as David Hide Band 5 Staff Nurse.
David was bought into CASUALTY on 30th April 2016 working as a Band 5 Nurse. He impressed Connie and Dylan although Dylan was less than impressed with his lack of lack of speech. David favours silence.
David came to Holby after it was decided by the Department of Work and Pensions that he was ready to return to work after a two year break. He made friends with Robin and together they came up with the idea of a ‘Mortality Café’ which was for people affected by death.
It was later discovered that David had tried to kidnap his son Ollie and take him to live in Mexico with him and his new girlfriend. This lead to the divorce of David and his wife Rosa.
David has Bipolar and one storyline saw David stop taking his medication and as a result sped off with Robyn in his car which put her and her unborn baby in danger in the middle of a grave yard.
When Davd's son Oliver arrived in the ED he was closely followed by an angry Rosa. Oliver wanted to come an live with David but he told Ollie that he couldn’t. In anger later burnt a Memory poster of him and David which lead to the car he was in (and drove himself to ED in setting on Fire.) David saved Oliver before the car exploded.
