John Michie who joined BBC One's medical drama Holby City is set to leave after 3 years in the role as neurosurgeon Guy Self.
Michie who has been in 114 episodes since his arrival on the 26th November 2013, he is set to leave Holby City wards on the 15th November 2016, which will bring his total to 118 episodes.
The actor took to Instagram "Beautiful.......hope the shows going well. Any chance of it coming south, like Essex ?"
He later replied to a comment "afraid so. First 3 eps in Nov are Guys leaving story. Grain in the Blood just in Glasgow and Edinburgh"
You can catch John portraying Tom in West Skerra Light on October 31 (Scotland only) and you can go and watch him in theatre this winter. We are sure that John will be sadly missed, as we know we will be.
