Tonight (March 27) viewers saw the departure of Dr Oliver Valentine, played by James Anderson leave Holby City.
The actor took to Twitter "This dear old hospital of mine has been a school, a playground, and a family to me for over seven years. I’ve loved every minute and it’s with a full, heavy heart that I now move on to adventures new. Thank you so much for having me. James x"
James joined the cast of Holby City in 2009 before he made his departure in 2013. He then rejoined the show in 2014 until 2018.
