Today (September 15) Holby City Series Producer Simon Harper announced that Hugh Quarshie is back filming.
We last saw Ric on the 19th May 2015 after the actor took a break from the show to do other work away from Holby. But he will be back on-screen in early 2016 for the 18th Series.
Holby Series Producer announced on Twitter: "So good to have @HughQuarshie back filming with us! Yes Ric returns early 2016! #HolbyCity"
