In tonight's episode (December 7) of Holby City, the second part of the two part special, which saw the departure of General Surgeon Raf Di Lucca played by Joe McFadden.
Fan favourite Raf Di Lucca was found dead, after being shot by Federik, near the end of the episode we heard Raf leaving a voicemail message to Essie. Raf was found by Sacha as the lifts reopen, ready to take Jac to ITU.
We also saw Jac Naylor being shot in the back and Oliver Valentine in the head whilst performing in surgery.
Joe McFadden joined the cast of Holby City in 2014 - and has been involved in some big storylines, including the on going feud with Harry Tressler over the affair with Amy Teo.
We would like to wish Joe all the best for the future, and you'll be missed deeply.
