The BBC have announced that Catherine Russell has joined, the cast of Holby City as a new Consultant General Surgeon Serena Campbell. Best known for her roles in The Inspector Lynley Mysteries and Pete versus Life.
Serena is introduced as a charming, candid and utterly professional, Serena will arrive at Holby City to shake up the old order. With an outstanding business brain, she is equally at home in the boardroom or in theatre. As an unapologetic achiever and fearless architect of change, she is a force to be reckoned with.
Catherine will make her debut in May 2012.
