Brigit Forsyth best known for her role as Madge in BBC One's comedy Still Open All Hours, is set to join the Holby City cast as a guest.
Brigit will be playing Guy Self's (John Michie) mother and Zosia March's (Camilla Arfwedson) grandmother, Valerie Self who uses her maiden name Sturgeon as she becomes better acquainted with her granddaughter that never knew had existed.
Guy is forced to revisit his dark past when an unexpected patient arrives at Holby. Will she ruin his big day?
