Background:
Jessica's a strong modern woman who knows her own mind. She decided to become a nurse while looking after her brother. He had almost lost his leg in a bicycle accident.
She specialises in paediatrics and is excellent with children. Tess sees her as a life-saver, arriving in the midst of the work-to-rule, and calmly and efficiently dealing with patients and colleagues alike.
